Gisele Bundchen Defends Breastfeeding Comments

Gisele Bundchen made news yesterday when he said: "I think there should be a law in the world that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months." But the pattern of 30, who has just given birth to her first child last year, defended his controversial comments in a post on his blog. She writes: "My attempt at making a comment about the importance of breastfeeding has nothing to do with the law.
"It comes from my passion and beliefs about children. Being a mother has brought many new questions, I feel like I'm in a constant search for answers to what might be best for my child." The Brazilian beauty, who had a home birth when she delivered Benjamin in December 2009, made his first comments to the British magazine Harper's Bazaar, while discussing the importance of breastfeeding. She also said: "Some people think they should not breastfeed, and I think," Would you give food chemicals for your child when they have so little? "
